Today's Diet Mantra

Is it a vegetable?
Is it a fruit?
Does it have protein?

If all three questions have 'no' for the answer...... 


IT DOES NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO GO INTO MY MOUTH TODAY!!!!!!!


The donut hole I already ate this morning does not count because I thought of this after I swallowed.

  4. Did not realize the sexual overtones of this until they were pointed out. Maybe I'm frustrated in more than one way. Can you be frustrated about something you barely even remember???? ;-)

    This mantra has not worked well for me today - even though it has made me more conscious of what has gone in my mouth.

    But so much of what I eat, is not really vegetable, fruit, or protein. Even when I'm not bingeing on things like candy.

    For example, for breakfast at work today, I had a Smart One's frozen pasta with cheese and tomato sauce. OK, it had a little protein in the cheese. But for the most part, it was carbs, carbs, and more carbs. For lunch at work, I had a can of black bean soup. Again, protein because of the beans but not pure protein.

  5. That certainly is a mean tone of voice you are using with yourself. It's kinda scary.....maybe not the best way to gain someone's trust and love? But what do I know?
